Bowl for Kids’ Sake (BFKS) is not about bowling, it’s about taking part in a fun activity to help local kids. BFKS is a fun and easy way to support an organization that makes an enormous difference in the lives of children.

All money raised goes directly to support a match between a caring role model (“Big”) and a child (“Little”).

More than 150 children in our community are waiting for a Big and need your help! Research has proven that having a Big helps a child avoid alcohol and drug use, improve school performance, get along better with others and increase selfesteem.

What makes it fun?

In addition to knowing that you are supporting mentoring…

Besides bowling, we’ll have great music, t-shirts, trivia contests and door prizes.
Challenge others! Take home a traveling trophy.
Team Challenge is for each team member to raise $100 for a team total of $500.
Be a bowler, a Team Captain, or a Team Recruiter (encourage several teams to bowl)…But for Kids’ Sake, Just Bowl!

You can easily participate in our campaign by donating online at www.bbbsevansville.org. Encouraging your friends, family, and coworkers to do the same. We will track your team totals for you and keep you updated on your team goal. When reviewing your donation, please make sure to click the link “Add special instructions” and include the name of the person your are sponsoring. Or, you can use our donation envelope to collect money from sponsors. Just be sure to bring the envelope and money with you to the bowling center! Donations must be pre-collected!

Personalize! Who was your mentor? Relate your own story of someone who made a difference in your life.
Though we encourage you to ask for donations of $25 or $50, no donation is too small.
Donations are tax deductible.

Important: If your company or organization will have more than one team, call 812-425-6076 to reserve a GROUP time.

Matching Gifts

Does your company have a MATCHING GIFTS PROGRAM? If so, please help make your gift to Big Brothers Big Sisters multiply by having it matched by your company.

“Start a Team” (Team Captains) – Enter your team name and complete the basic information on the form.
Email, Fax or Mail in your Team Registration Form to our office.
Your registration will be confirmed via email.

It’s easy—once you register it’s time to get busy fundraising. Send emails or mail letters to your family, friends and co-workers to support your efforts! With your team’s minimum fundraising goal of $500, you can support a new match!

Bowling Sessions

Bowl for Kids’ Sake 2010 will be held at AMF Arc Lanes in Evansville, Indiana on Saturday, February 6, 2010.

9:00*, 10:15*, 11:30, 12:45, 2:00, 3:15

Note: * Clowns will be present at the 9:00 and 10:15 bowling sessions. This would be a good time to bowl with your kids.
